Sundip “Sunny” Murthy is a Senior Advisor to the Merton Philanthropic Institute and was an early donor to Merton’s affordable housing projects. With over 25 years of experience in private equity investing, he has led numerous transactions and served on the boards of more than a dozen middle-market companies. Previously, Mr. Murthy was a Partner at two institutional private equity firms, Norwest Equity Partners and Snow Phipps, participating on the investment and management committees. His earlier roles include senior investor positions at 3i Group and The Carlyle Group.
Mr. Murthy began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA with Distinction from Cornell University. Deeply committed to philanthropy, he focuses on supporting underprivileged youth, affordable housing, and conservation efforts.
Geoffrey Price is a psychotherapist, executive coach, mentor, mediator, and facilitator.
Mr. Price is a trusted advisor to CEOs with expertise in developing leaders and teams to develop insight, passion and self-mastery. Clients include Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR). He is a panel member at Killfinan Australia mentoring NFP CEOs, and a co-founder of the Pathways Foundation, a nonprofit improving the health and wellbeing of boys and men. He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales.
Mr. Price is also the author of Puberty Boy, Real Men and True Happiness, and Licking Honey from the Razor’s Edge. His first novel, The Future Has A Long History, is to be published in 2025.
Mr. Price has an ecumenical outlook, he works towards a harmonious and just world, often affirming the adage: “Truth is one, paths are many.”
Gideon Pfeffer has over 20+ years of real estate investing experience, focused on the acquisition and renovation of workforce multifamily housing. He is the CEO and Managing Partner, of the GSH Group, a partner in various real estate ventures, and was previously with Red Cedar Residential and Precise Associates.
Mr. Peffer has a BS in Finance from Syracuse University.
Mr. Pfeffer contributes articles to INC. Magazine and was selected as one of dBusiness Magazine’s “30 in their 30s” honorees in 2017. He has served on various board and advisory roles for non-profit groups focused on community development and the revitalization of the City of Detroit. He also supports students in need at Syracuse University through the Jaime and Gideon Pfeffer Scholarship Fund.
Sean Davis is the Founder of Merton Capital Partners. He started his career with J. P. Morgan and Advent International, a leader in international private equity. Mr. Davis then worked with Saratoga Partners, where he focused on leverage buyout opportunities and restructurings. More recently, Mr. Davis was the Development Director for The Salvation Army of Palm Beach County, where he focused on early learning and homeless housing.
Mr. Davis grew up in Colombia and Argentina and graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and from The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He also holds an MBA from the London Business School. Mr. Davis is the author of Solving the Giving Pledge Bottleneck, a Top 12 Forbes Must Have Books And Podcasts For Leaders In 2023. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University, a TEDx speaker, and an advisor to various nonprofits.
